12. What experiences do you have with dogs? (ie. obedience, agility, work at SPCA etc) | We run group dog classes, conduct one on one dog training sessions and provide 'home alone visits' during the week. We also provide behaviour consults for problems such as fearfulness, seperation anxiety or aggression. This involves an in depth interview session, tailor made behaviour modification programme and 2 practicle sessions after the programme has been discussed and understood by our client. We are involved in Canine Pet therapy as assessors and one of our own dogs is a pet therapy dog visiting resthomes. We have fostered and rehomed rescue dogs, worked at Mark Vette boarding kennels and volunteer work at SPCA and Whippet Rescue UK. |

Is there anything else we should know about you and your dog training business? | D For Dog Training is a relatively new business in Auckland dedicated to training dogs using positive reinforcement. We focus on owner education and creating a positive relationship between dogs and owners based on clear communication. Our training is based on scientific learning theory - classical and operant conditioning - and we keep up to date with the latest training research by attending conferences and seminars.
