  Doglinks.co.nz Updated Links May 12, 2007
============================== =======================

This is the first in the newsletters from Doglinks. It's has taken a while because we didn't know where to begin. We were planning on creating another online forum, and when we did, the spam started to arrive. We decided that there are enough forums in cyberspace that we don't actually need one. We replaced our old forum with our blog -- New Zealand Dog News. (http://doglinks.blogspot.com/) We felt that people who wanted to know the issues around dogs in New Zealand would be more inclined to offer their opinions in our blog.

Here's the updates for Doglinks.co.nz

            Look like you know where.
            And if you must fail,
            Please put me in the woods

A Year in the Life of William Shakespeare: 1599 by James Shapiro
concerns the year WS wrote in part or wholly Henry V, As You Like
It, Julius Caesar, andHamlet*
.

What was going on in his life then? What was going on in
his society? Oh, just a rebellion in Ireland, the defeat of the Spanish
Armada, the usual religious strife and political feuds, the death of a
child, the loss of some friends, vicissitudes of business. The book has
a slightly academic style, but is very enjoyable, very perceptive --
scholarly without being pedantic.
